Joy Hutchcraft serves as executive director of Development and oversees all fundraising activities that involve the solicitation of major and planned gifts at Illinois State University.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She became a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) in June 1998. Previously, she served as associate director of Memorial Medical Center Foundation. She was also Director of Public Relations and Development at WMEC/WQEC/WSEC-TV, a public television consortium serving west central Illinois and northeastern Missouri. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering time to community service organizations. She is past national/state/local president of the United States Women of Today organization and past president of the Central Illinois Planned Giving Council.
