As the director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences, Mary Crawford has the privilege of working with 13 departments, three schools, and a program in the area of natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Through engagement with alumni, faculty, and friends, we seek to enhance the ISU experience for students by increasing resources for scholarships, faculty enrichment, and programs.
Mary came to ISU in 2007 from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. As the director of advancement and grants, she managed the Annual Giving program, the Grants program, and Foundations and Corporations, as well as being a major gift officer and special events planner. She holds a B.S. in accounting from Kansas State University and both a CPA and CIA designation. Prior to entering the field of development, she was in the healthcare industry as a controller.
Mary is married to James. She has 4 children and 13 grandchildren. She enjoys the outdoors and nature and family activities.
