Michele Hicks serves as assistant director of Annual Giving, Telefund Manager, and ISU Student Foundation Advisor. She is responsible for maintaining and implementing the Telefund operation; assisting in recruiting, training, and management of student supervisors and callers at the Telefund; and holds the following responsibilities: Through the Telefund and other annual fundraising activities, raise monetary support for the college's and departments' annual operating budgets. Coordinate parents Annual Fund and special project solicitations. Coordinate the Student Foundation, including student recruitment, fundraising and promotion as well as student philanthropy initiatives such as the Spirit Tassel Challenge.

She came to Illinois State with more than five years experience in Annual Giving from the Pacific Northwest. She served as a student caller, student supervisor, and a program assistant at her alma mater’s student call center.

Michele holds a bachelor’s degree in community health education and master’s degree in public administration from Eastern Washington University. She currently resides in Normal with her husband John and daughter Jaedyn.
