A family of Redbird fans. Finding a little extra in a young family’s budget isn’t easy, but Amy and Randy Roser have supported Redbird Athletics for more than a decade.
Jeff Amport received a scholarship that inspired him to push himself academically, just like he did in high school.
More than a few universities were trying to recruit the valedictorian, but Illinois State succeeded. Amie Burke felt comfortable the first time she walked across campus and was also attracted by a scholarship offer.
Scholarships drew Doug to Illinois State. He received two scholarships as a freshman and went on to earn more, as well as double major in insurance and finance and become a Bone Scholar, the University’s highest honor.
The O’Daffer Fellowship allowed Jenni McCool to focus on her studies, and made sure she had some income to support her family.
